Dr. Ciro Blujus dos Santos Rohde
Dr. Ciro Rohde graduated in Medicine from the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo in November 2010. He subsequently trained in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Chinese Medical University and Taipei City Hospital in Taiwan, completing two years of clinical training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and TCM.
Since April 2016 he has served as Medical Preceptor of the post-graduation programme on Acupuncture at the Centre of Acupuncture in the Hospital Clinics of the University of São Paulo, and from March 2017 as Medical Preceptor of the Medical Residency on Acupuncture programme at the same institution.
He coordinates the Service of Acupuncture, Phytotherapy and Medicinal Plants at the Institute of Psychiatry of the University of São Paulo — a role that places him at the intersection of psychiatric medicine, traditional plant-based therapies, and integrative clinical practice.
His clinical and academic work demonstrates that traditional medical systems and biomedical practice are not in opposition — they are complementary frameworks that, when integrated thoughtfully, offer more comprehensive care to patients.
